Natalie Camacho, 31, Seriously Injured in Crash at Patterson and Bentley Roads
STANISLAUS COUNTY, CA (March 13, 2022) – Natalie Camacho was seriously injured after a fatal crash at Patterson and Bentley roads in Stanislaus County.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 31-year-old Modesto woman as one of the victims in the accident which took place on Saturday.
The incident happened when Natalie Camacho was riding as a passenger in a 2017 Volkswagen headed west on Patterson Road in Stanislaus County.
Meanwhile, a 2007 Honda was going north on Bentley Road approaching the intersection. A 2018 Chevrolet was traveling east on Patterson at the same time.
Driver Runs Stop Sign, Hits Cars
The driver of the Honda, 56-year-old Modesto resident Ruth Rancano, ran a stop sign and collided with the Chevrolet. Both spun out of control and then slammed into the Volkswagen.
CHP said the Volkswagen rolled over as a result of the collision. All three cars ended up off the road near the areas of Riverbank and Oakdale.
Natalie Camacho and the motorist in the Chevrolet sustained major injuries following the crash. Paramedics rushed them to the Memorial Medical Center for treatment.
Officers added that Ruth Rancano and the woman driving the Volkswagen died at the scene. The Modesto Bee wrote that the wreck occurred at about 2:25 p.m.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
