Nemesio Isorena, 62, Killed in South San Francisco Pedestrian Crash
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA (November 4, 2022) – Nemesio Isorena was killed after a pedestrian crash in South San Francisco.
The coroner’s office identified the 62-year-old man as the victim of the fatal collision which took place on Monday.
The incident happened when a SamTrans bus struck Nemesio Isorena, of South San Francisco, for an unknown reason. The vehicle struck him at the intersection of Mission Road and McLellan Drive.
Man Hit by Bus
Nemesio Isorena sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident. The NBC Bay Area and Patch wrote that the collision occurred on October 31 at at around 8 p.m.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the pedestrian down on the ground. He died as a result of the crash.
Family members set up a GoFundMe page to help cover the funeral expenses of the victim. Meanwhile, police did not mention if the bus driver stopped or stayed at the site following the incident.
Officers forced the area of Mission and McLellan to shut down for a time after the collision. The cause of the South San Francisco crash is still under investigation.
