Major Injury Collision on Bloomfield Road Saturday
Nevada City, CA (November 20, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Bloomfield Road, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated two vehicles collided on North Bloomfield Road Saturday afternoon. Officials described the automobiles involved in the crash as a blue Volkswagen bus and a white AT&T truck.
The CHP logged the incident at about 4:20 p.m.

When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found one person trapped in the wreckage. Firefighters at the scene worked extensively to extricate the victim. After successfully pulling out the person, paramedics immediately checked they condition. The assessment revealed the victim suffered major injuries as a result of the collision.
Additional details on the traffic crash have not been discussed thus far. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine exactly how and why the accident on Bloomfield Road in Nevada City happened.
