At Least 1 Hospitalized After Collision Near Calgrove Boulevard Wednesday
Newhall, CA (December 22, 2021) – A car accident that occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway resulted in injuries, according to the Signal News.

Earlier reports indicated multiple vehicles collided on the freeway; in the area between the Newhall Pass and Calgrove Boulevard. Per article published online, a big rig slammed into the wall on the connector road. The force from the impact caused the big rig to break through the divider and eventually tip over.
Officials mentioned several other automobiles played a role in the accident. At this time, the description of the other cars found at the scene remained unknown.
Shortly after 3:20 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. Our sources confirmed one or more parties sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. Personal information on the victim have not been discussed thus far.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine several factors surrounding the car crash on Interstate 5 in Newhall.
