Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Collision on Antelope Valley Freeway Friday
Newhall, CA (September 10, 2021) – A traffic accident involving a motorcycle rider occurred Friday afternoon on State Route 14, also known as Antelope Valley Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a motorcyclist collided with a passenger vehicle in the northbound side of the Newhall highway. Initial records indicated the crash took place near the Golden Valley Road onramp.
Shortly after 2:30 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. First responders found a female party ejected from the motorbike. Authorities mentioned the woman landed in the HOV lane of Antelope Valley Freeway. Paramedics attended to the woman, then transferred her to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for further treatment.
No immediate information was available on the other driver involved in the collision.
At this time, investigators continue to work to determine exactly how and why the motorcycle accident in Newhall happened.
