2 Injured in Nipomo Crash at Bonita School Road and Division Street
NIPOMO, CA (June 18, 2021) – A car crash injured two people at Bonita School Road and Division Street in Nipomo.
According to an article published by the KSBY News, the accident took place on Friday morning. Officers reported the wreck at around 9:45 a.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions on Division Street, approaching Bonita School Road, in Nipomo. For an unknown reason, a truck involved turned in front of an oncoming car.
Rollover Collision in Nipomo
The California Highway Patrol said the two then collided at the intersection of Division and Bonita School. The truck rolled onto its roof while the other car obtained major front-end damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found the drivers of both vehicles who complained of pain as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel provided treatment to the patients for the minor injuries they sustained in the wreck. Their names and condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP blocked the area of Bonita School and Division following the crash. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Nipomo wreck.
