1 Injured in North Highlands Crash at 32nd Street and Elkhorn Boulevard
NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (January 27, 2023) – One was hospitalized after a crash at 32nd Street and Elkhorn Boulevard in North Highlands.
The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District first logged the accident on Thursday morning. Officers reported the wreck on January 26 at about 11:18 a.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in North Highlands. The cars crashed at the intersection of 32nd Street and Elkhorn Boulevard.
2 Vehicles Collide
One car rolled over as a result of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and freed one trapped occupant from the wreckage.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of 32nd Street and Elkhorn Boulevard to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the North Highlands crash is still under investigation.
