1 Seriously Injured in North Highlands Crash at Elkhorn Boulevard and 34th Street
NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (November 16, 2021) – A crash seriously injured at least one person at Elkhorn Boulevard and 34th Street in North Highlands.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:08 p.m.
According to CHP, three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in North Highlands. They crashed at the intersection of Elkhorn Boulevard and 34th Street.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
The incident log described the two of the cars as a small SUV and a Toyota Prius. The SUV obtained front-end damage while the Toyota ended up with front damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Watt Avenue. They found one individual who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Elkhorn Boulevard and 34th Street to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the North Highlands crash is still under investigation.
