
2 Injured in North Highlands Crash Near Watt and Myrtle Avenues
NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (December 11, 2022) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash near Watt and Myrtle avenues in North Highlands.
According to the KCRA News and CBS Sacramento, the accident took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 1 p.m.
The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District said four cars collided for an unknown reason in North Highlands. The vehicles crashed near the intersection of Watt and Myrtle avenues.
Multiple Cars Collide
A driver became trapped inside their car upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and freed the motorist from the wreckage.
Two people ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then rushed both patients to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Watt and Myrtle avenues to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the North Highlands crash still under investigation.
