Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found one person hurt. They provided treatment to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the wreck.

The report did not disclose the name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the woman driving the Honda did not stop to help and fled the area.

They believed that she was under the influence of alcohol when the collision occurred. Officers forced the corner of Pasadena and Auburn to shut down following the incident.

The North Highlands hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
