Rider Injured in Crash at Watt Avenue and Van Owen Street Saturday
North Highlands, CA (April 17, 2021) – A traffic accident involving a motorcycle rider occurred Saturday afternoon in the area of Watt Avenue and Van Owen Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a motorcyclist was seen splitting lanes while traveling south on Watt Avenue. When the rider approached the intersection at Van Owen Street, they collided with another motorist. The make and model of the passenger vehicle found at the scene remained unknown at this time.

Medical personnel arrived at the location shortly after 1:25 p.m. Paramedics reportedly checked the conditions of all parties found at the crash site, and later confirmed the motorcyclist suffered major injuries. Meanwhile, authorities continue to withhold information on the other people involved in the wreck pending confirmation.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the motorcycle accident in North Highlands.
