Motorcyclist Injured in North Highlands Hit-and-Run Crash on Watt Avenue
NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (February 12, 2022) – A hit-and-run crash injured a motorcyclist on Watt Avenue in North Highlands.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Thursday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 4:50 p.m.
The incident happened on February 10 when a blue Infiniti struck the motorcycle rider for an unknown reason. The two crashed at 4661 Watt Avenue in North Highlands.
Rider Hit by Car
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Love Laundry North Highlands. They found the rider who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then treated the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the wreck. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the driver of the Infiniti did not stop to help and fled the area. Officers forced a stretch of Watt Avenue to shut down following the incident.
The cause of the North Highlands hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
