Rider Hospitalized After Collision Near Lincoln Avenue
North Park, CA (May 25, 2022) – One person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on 30th Street Wednesday evening.
Auto vs. Motorcycle Accident on 30th Street in North Park
The San Diego Union-Tribune News reported a 28-year-old man was riding a 2004 Harley-Davidson heading north on 30th Street. When the motorcyclist approached the area near Lincoln Avenue, a southbound Toyota Prius reportedly turned into its path. The motorbike and the car ended up colliding into each other.
Shortly after 8 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the rider found with serious injuries. An ambulance transported the patient to a hospital where medical personnel reported the injury could require amputation because of the broken left femur and broken left ankle. Personal information on the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned the 27-year-old man driving the Prius appeared unharmed after the incident.
Detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the traffic crash on 30th Street in North Park.
