Motorcyclist Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Oak Glen Road
OAK GLEN, CA (November 11, 2021) – A motorcyclist was injured after a hit-and-run crash on Oak Glen Road in San Bernardino County.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Thursday afternoon in Oak Glen. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck shortly before 12 p.m.
The incident happened when the motorcycle rider and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed at 39611 Oak Glen Road.
Driver Hits Rider, Flees Scene
Firefighters along with the paramedics then arrived at the scene near the Los Rios Rancho farm. They found the motorcyclist hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon provided treatment to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the wreck. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the other driver did not stop to help the rider and fled the area. Officers forced the roadway to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Oak Glen hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
