At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on Mojave Freeway Sunday
Oak Hills, CA (January 11, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on Interstate 15, also known as Mojave Freeway.
Initial records indicated two vehicles collided on the northbound lanes of the freeway near US-395 in Oak Hills. CHP logged the case on January 9, Sunday, at about 3:19 a.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found a black Nissan car disabled along the freeway. Responding paramedics checked the conditions of all the occupants in the Nissan. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one victim sustained injuries as a result of the collision.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned the other motorist involved in the wreck fled the scene. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Investigators continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the injury car crash on Interstate 15 in Oak Hills.
