Possible DUI Collision at San Joaquin and J Street
Tulare, CA (July 31, 2022) – A Tulare Police Officer suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred in the area of San Joaquin and J Street.
According to FOX News, a civilian car crashed into a patrol vehicle at the intersection in Tulare Friday morning. Earlier reports indicated the driver of the civilian car failed to yield at a stop sign; and sped through the intersection. The civilian car crashed into the patrol vehicle traveling in the area.
Police Officer Injured After Car Accident in Tulare
Responding paramedics rendered aid to all parties found at the scene. The article published online mentioned the Tulare Police Officer sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. Personal information on the injured deputy remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Officials added the 20-year-old man driving the civilian car showed signs of intoxication.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the deadly accident at San Joaquin and J Street in Tulare.
