1 Seriously Injured in Oildale Crash at Chester Avenue and Manor Street
OILDALE, CA (November 6, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Chester Avenue and Manor Street in Oildale.
A California Highway Patrol dispatch said the accident took place early Saturday. Officers reported the wreck at about 12:13 a.m.
According to CHP, three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Oildale. They crashed at North Chester Avenue and Manor Street.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
The incident log described the cars involved as a white Ford Expedition and a black Ford Expedition and a white Honda Odyssey. The black SUV caught fire upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Chester Avenue and Manor Street to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Oildale crash is still under investigation.
