Semi-Trucks, Honda Crash on 60 Freeway at Ontario/Chico Border
ONTARIO, Calif. (Dec. 8, 2021) — A crash in Ontario happened early Wednesday morning on State Route 60 Freeway, just west of Euclid Avenue.
The traffic accident happened in the eastbound lanes about 2:33 a.m. on Dec. 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a collision between two semi-trucks and a Honda. The Honda reportedly had major rear-end damage due to the multi-vehicle collision. At least two of the drivers involved required medical attention following the wreck.
Paramedics with the CAL Fire Riverside Fire Department responded to help anyone hurt in the collision. There were no further details provided in the CHP report.
Meanwhile, several traffic lanes were blocked by vehicles prompting police to issue a SigAlert following the crash.
CHP officials are investigating the Ontario crash on the 60 Freeway and will determine fault.
