Ontario: Hit-and-Run Crash on Archibald Avenue OnrampAt Least 2 Hospitalized After Collision on Archibald Avenue Thursday

Ontario, CA (August 12, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on Archibald Avenue Thursday, the California Highway Patrol group reported.

Our sources indicated a black Toyota Camry was seen disabled in the right-hand shoulder of Archibald Avenue onramp in Ontario. Preliminary investigation revealed the Camry collided with another vehicle that immediate fled the scene following the incident.

According to the CHP dispatch, an adult woman and her daughter managed to self-extricate from the wreckage. Emergency teams rushed to the crash site, then immediately rendered aid to the possible victims. The CHP dispatch confirmed medical personnel rushed both the woman and her child to the hospital for treatment. No immediate information was available on the two patients.

At this time, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the car accident in Ontario happened.
