3-Vehicle Crash on The City Drive, I-5 Off Ramp
ORANGE, Calif. (Oct. 11, 2022) — A multi-vehicle car accident happened Tuesday morning at the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway and The City Drive off ramp in Orange.
The collision occurred at the off ramp about 8:55 a.m. on Oct. 11th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A driver in a 2013 Nissan Juke reportedly rear-ended a silver Toyota RAV 4 SUV in a left-hand turn lane. The Toyota SUV also crashed into a white Mini Cooper, the report said.
The accident also blocked the right lane of The City Drive off ramp.
Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed at least one of the damaged vehicles from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
