1 Seriously Injured in Orange Cove Crash at American Avenue and Hills Valley Road
ORANGE COVE, CA (November 14, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at American Avenue and Hills Valley Road in Orange Cove.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the incident took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:46 p.m.
The accident happened when a Chevrolet Silverado and two other vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Orange Cove. They crashed at the intersection of American Avenue and Hills Valley Road.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
CHP added that a red colored vehicle rolled over upon impact and another car caught fire. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and extricated a trapped occupant from wreckage.
Medical personnel confirmed that one person sustained moderate to major injuries as a result of the collision. An air ambulance took the patient to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of American Avenue and Hills Valley to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Orange Cover crash is still under investigation.
