1 Injured in Orangevale Hit-and-Run at Greenback Lane and Main Avenue
ORANGEVALE, CA (January 3, 2022) – A hit-and-run crash injured at least one person at Greenback Lane and Main Avenue in Orangevale.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident last week on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on December 30 at about 4:09 p.m.
According to CHP, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed at the intersection of Greenback Lane and Main Avenue in Orangevale.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the American River Ace Hardware. They found one occupant who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel treated the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that two people abandoned their vehicle and fled on foot. Officers forced the area of Greenback Lane and Main Avenue to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Orangevale hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
