2 Injured in Traffic Collision on Highway 101 Sunday
Orcutt, CA (April 26, 2021) – Two people suffered injuries following a car accident on Highway 101 Sunday afternoon, according to Noozhawk.
Earlier reports indicated a cargo van and trailer crashed in the southbound side of Highway 101 in Orcutt.
Per article published online, the driver of the van and trailer lost control of the vehicle. As a result, the automobile crashed into the center divider of the freeway near Solomon Road. Authorities mentioned the incident took place in the area between Orcutt and Los Alamos.

Medical personnel arrived at the location shortly after 12:35 p.m. After paramedics evaluated the conditions of all parties involved in the wreck, they confirmed two people sustained moderate injuries as a result of the collision.
A Calstar medical helicopter was dispatched to the crash site. However, it remained unclear whether the air ambulance transported a patient to a hospital.
Several factors surrounding the car accident in Orcutt remained unclear. For this reason, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly what happened here and why.
