Man Killed, Woman Badly Hurt in Collision Near Clark Avenue
Orcutt, CA (April 3, 2023) – One person died following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route Highway 135 Monday evening, the Noozhawk News reported.
On April 3, around 6:45 p.m., two vehicles collided head-on in the southbound side of Sr-135. The horrible crash involved a Honda Civic and a Toyota RAV4.
Emergency crews responded to the accident scene, approximately half a mile south of Clark Avenue, and found both cars disabled. Medical personnel immediately checked the conditions of all the occupants in both vehicles.
Deadly Car Accident in Orcutt
According to the article published online, the adult male driver of the Honda Civic sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away at the scene. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, the adult female driving the Toyota RAV4 sustained major injuries. An air ambulance transported the victim to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine exactly how and why the fatal crash happened on Highway 135 in Orcutt.
