2 Badly Injured in Orcutt Crash on Highway 101 at Solomon Grade
ORCUTT, CA (November 8, 2021) – Two were badly injured after a crash on Highway 101 at the Solomon Grade south of Orcutt.
According to an article published by the Noozhawk News, the accident took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 3 p.m.
The Santa Barbara County Fire Department a motorcycle and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in Orcutt. The two crashed on northbound Highway 101 on the Solomon Grade.
Motorcycle and Vehicle Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found two people who sustained moderate injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took both patients to the Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria for treatment. The report did not disclose their names and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the northbound lanes of Highway 101 to shut down near the Solomon Grade following the wreck. The cause of the Orcutt crash is still under investigation.
