4 Injured in Oroville Crash on Larkin Road Near Airport
OROVILLE, CA (August 14, 2022) – Several were injured after a car crash on Larkin Road near the airport in Oroville.
According to an article published by the Action News Now, the accident took place on Sunday. The Butte County Fire Department reported the wreck at about 1:39 p.m.
The incident happened when multiple cars collided in the city near the Oroville Municipal Airport. For an unknown reason, the vehicles crashed on Larkin Road.
Multiple Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found a total of four people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the patients for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the wreck. The reports did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, Cal Fire added that the incident caused a fire on the side of the roadway. Officers forced one lane of Larkin Road to shut down near the airport following the wreck.
The cause of the Oroville crash is still under investigation.
