Car Plows Into Trader Joe’s in the San Francisco Bay Area
Castro Valley, CA (October 2, 2022) – Osvaldo Ledesma and his 5-year-old son suffered injuries following a car crash that occurred on Redwood Road, the San Francisco Gate News reported.
Officials said a 90-year-old man was behind the wheel of the vehicle traveling in the San Francisco Bay Area. For reasons still unclear, the driver veered off the roadway and accelerated into a Trader Joe’s in Castro Valley.
Shortly after 3:45 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to as many as eight people. The article published online identified one victim as Osvaldo Ledesma. Authorities added the 5-year-old son of Ledesma also sustained serious injuries after being dragged by the car.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the major accident that happened on Redwood Road in Castro Valley.
