2-Vehicle Collision at Highway 99 West and Gyle Road Monday
Tehama County, CA (January 24, 2022) – Police arrested Oswaldo Moreno Zabala in relation with a DUI car crash that occurred in the area of Highway 99 West and Gyle Road.
The Action News Now published an article online reporting Zabala, of Corning, was behind the wheel of a Camaro traveling in the Richfield area just north of Corning. When the Camaro approached the intersection at SR-99 and Gyle, it collided with a Honda Accord. The direction of both cars prior to the crash have not been discussed thus far.
Shortly after 9 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found Zabala with minor injuries. Officials mentioned the man received treatment before the arrest of suspicion of DUI. Additional details on the suspect remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the car accident at Highway 99 West and Gyle Road.
