Bicyclist Injured in Oxnard Hit-and-Run at Gonzales Road and Harbor Boulevard
OXNARD, CA (October 21, 2021) – A bicyclist was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Gonzales Road and Harbor Boulevard in Oxnard.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place early Wednesday. According to their dispatch, officers reported the collision shortly after 2:30 a.m.
The incident happened on October 20 when a vehicle struck the bicycle rider for an unknown reason in Oxnard. The driver hit the victim at the intersection of West Gonzales Road and North Harbor Boulevard.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the McGrath State Beach. They found the bicyclist hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel provided aid to the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the wreck. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render help the cyclist and then fled the area. Officers forced the intersection of Gonzales and Harbor to shut down following the crash.
The cause of the Oxnard hit-and-run collision is still under investigation.
