1 Injured in Oxnard Crash at Friedrich Road and Santa Clara Avenue
OXNARD, CA (December 30, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash at Friedrich Road and Santa Clara Avenue in Oxnard.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Wednesday evening. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 5:39 p.m.
The incident happened on December 29 when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of Oxnard. They crashed at the intersection of Friedrich Road and Santa Clara Avenue.
CHP described the cars as a white Alfa Romeo and a Nissan Frontier. The Alfa Romeo major front-end damage while the Nissan came to a rest with moderate front-end damage.
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one person who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient the St. John’s Regional Medical Center for treatment. At least one of them sustained major injuries following the wreck.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Friedrich and Santa Clara to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Oxnard crash is still under investigation.
