Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle at Ventura Road and Ninth Street
Oxnard, CA (August 29, 2022) – A pedestrian died following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred in the area of Ventura Road and Ninth Street.
The KEYT News reported a vehicle struck an individual at the intersection in Oxnard early Monday morning. Shortly after 1:08 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics found a male party suffering in injuries. Given the condition of the victim, medical personnel rushed the man to Ventura County Medical Center. The article published online mentioned the victim sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Deadly Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident in Oxnard
Officials later discussed the driver involved in the unfortunate event apparently fled the scene. Detectives continue to gather information to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
