At Least 1 Killed in Collision in Ventura County
Oxnard, CA (May 31, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly traffic accident that occurred on Gonzales Road on May 31, Wednesday.
Our sources indicated two vehicles crashed into each other near the 4107 block of Gonzales Road in the Oxnard area of Ventura County. Officials described the cars involved in the catastrophic collision as a white Range Rover, and Honda Civic. The force from the impact resulted in major damage to both vehicles.
CHP logged the case at about 2:01 p.m.
Deadly Car Accident in Oxnard
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to all possible victims. Paramedics later confirmed one person sadly died from injuries sustained in the crash. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Investigators assigned to handle the case stayed at the scene the whole afternoon. They continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the deadly accident happened on Gonzales Road in Oxnard.
