Major Injury Collision on Highway 1 Thursday
Pacifica, CA (October 21, 2021) – At least one person suffered major injuries following a car crash that occurred on Highway 1, the CBS News reported.
Authorities said a white SUV slammed head-on into a garbage truck on the highway in Pacifica. Per article published online, the collision took place in the area between Linda Mar Boulevard and the Tom Lantos Tunnels.

Shortly after 11:30 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the crash site. First responders immediately rendered aid to all parties found at the scene. After the evaluation, officials confirmed at least one person sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck. Additional details on the victim have not been revealed thus far.
Rescue teams shut down Highway 1 to give way to the investigation process. Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led to the car crash on Highway 1 in Pacifica.
