6 Injured in Pacoima Crash on Van Nuys Boulevard Near Bradley
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 30, 2022) – Several were injured after a car crash on Van Nuys Boulevard in Pacoima.
According to the NBC Los Angeles and My News LA, the accident took place late Sunday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:29 p.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said two cars collided for an unknown reason in the Pacoima neighborhood. The vehicles crashed at 13035 Van Nuys Boulevard near Bradley Avenue.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and extricated one trapped occupant from the wreckage. A total of six people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
2 Cars Collide
LAFD described four victims as men about 20 years old and the fifth patient as a man in his 30s. Medical personnel soon took two of them to a hospital and listed them in critical condition.
Officials treated the other four for the minor injuries they sustained in the incident. A sixth person apparently left the area without treatment.
The report did not disclose the names of all the wounded parties. Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Van Nuys Boulevard to shut down near Bradley following the wreck.
The cause of the Pacoima crash is still under investigation.
