Motorcyclist Killed in Pacoima Hit-and-Run at Laurel Canyon and Judd
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 17, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed after a hit-and-run crash at Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Judd Street in Pacoima.
According to The Daily News and KTLA News, the tragic accident took place on Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck on October 16 at about 8:35 p.m.
The incident happened when a man in his 5os was riding a blue 2012 Kawasaki north on Laurel Canyon Boulevard near Judd Street in Pacoima.
Police said the motorcyclist then merged into a two-way left turn lane and collided head-on with a gray 2015 Toyota Corolla. A white sedan going south on Laurel Canyon then struck the rider.

The man ended up thrown off his bike upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and found the victim left lying on the ground.
He sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel rushed the patient to a local hospital, where he died. His name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the white sedan did not stop to render aid and fled the area. The motorist in the Toyota stayed at site following the wreck.
Officers forced the intersection of Laurel Canyon and Judd to shut down for a time following the wreck. The fatal Pacoima hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
