Pedestrian Injured in Pajaro Crash at Salinas Road and Porter Drive
PAJARO, CA (September 25, 2021) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a crash at Salinas Road and Porter Drive in Pajaro.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Saturday night. According to their dispatch, officers reported the accident at around 8 p.m.
CHP said a white Honda Accord struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Pajaro. The car hit the person at the intersection of Salinas Road and Porter Drive.
Victims Hit by Car
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Highway 129. They found the victim who complained of pain to their legs as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took the patient to the Natividad Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP mentioned that the driver stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victim. Officers forced the area of Salinas Road and Porter Drive to close following the collision.
The cause of the Pajaro pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
