1 Killed, 1 Hospitalized After Collision at Avacado Road and Dunstone Drive Thursday
Palermo, CA (June 24, 2021) – One person died, and another suffered injuries following a car crash in the area of Avocado Road and Dunstone Drive.
The KRCR News reported a vehicle with at least two occupants overturned for an unknown reason at the Palermo intersection. The Chevy 1500 rolled over multiple times, and ended up down an embankment at Avocado and Dunstone.
Shortly after 4:30 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the site. The article published online mentioned the driver and passenger were left trapped in the wreckage after the incident. Firefighters worked extensively to pull out the victims.

Authorities confirmed one person sadly died at the scene despite life-saving measures from paramedics. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, a second occupant from the Chevy reportedly escaped death with only minor injuries.
