1 Seriously Injured in Palm Desert Car Crash on Highway 74
PALM DESERT, CA (June 25, 2022) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on Highway 74 in Palm Desert.
According to The Desert Sun and My News LA, the accident took place late Wednesday morning. Officers forced the wreck shortly before noon.
The incident happened on June 22 when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Palm Desert. The Riverside County Fire Department said the cars crashed on the eastbound side of Highway 74.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one person who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
An air ambulance took the patient to an area hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced Highway 74 to shut down in both directions for several hours following the wreck. The cause of the Palm Desert car crash is still under investigation.
