Pedestrian Injured in Palm Desert Crash on Grape Arbor Avenue
PALM DESERT, CA (January 24, 2022) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a crash on Grape Arbor Avenue in Palm Desert.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the collision at about 4:15 p.m.
CHP said a silver Toyota Tacoma pickup truck hit the pedestrian in Palm Desert. For an unknown reason, the car hit the person at 78371 Grape Arbor Avenue.
Victim Hit by Car
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the entrance of the Sun City Palm Desert. They found the victim who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the person. They forced a stretch of Grape Arbor Avenue to shut down following the incident.
The cause of the Palm Desert pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
