1 Seriously Injured in Palm Springs Crash Near Gene Autry Trail and Tamarisk Road
PALM SPRINGS, CA (September 2, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash near Gene Autry Trail and Tamarisk Road in Palm Springs.
According to The Desert Sun and KESQ News, the accident took place on Thursday morning. Officers reported the wreck at around 6:30 a.m.
Palm Springs police said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. The cars crashed near the intersection of North Gene Autry Trail and Tamarisk Road.
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Palm Springs Air Museum. They found a total of three people hurt as a result of the collision.
At least one victim sustained major injuries upon impact. Medical personnel took all three patients to a hospital for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, police forced Gene Autry Trail to shut down near Tamarisk Road for several hours following the wreck.
The cause of the Palm Springs crash is still under investigation.
