Cyclist Hit and Killed by Vehicle on Indian Canyon Drive Saturday
Palm Springs, CA (March 19, 2022) – One person died following a bicycle accident that occurred on Indian Canyon Drive Saturday morning.
My News LA published an article online reporting a collision between a cyclist and a car. For reasons still under investigation, a passenger vehicle struck a man riding a bike in the area between Garnet Avenue and Palm Springs Station Road. The crash took place at about 5:40 a.m.
Deadly Bicycle Accident in Palm Springs, March 19
First responders found the bicyclist lying on the ground. Despite life-saving attempts performed by medical personnel, the victim sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending notification of next of kin. However, officers confirmed the fatal victim was a Palm Springs resident.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly accident on Indian Canyon Drive.
