Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man at 20th and Avenue N
Palmdale, CA (May 11, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly hit-and-run pedestrian accident at 20th Street and Avenue N.
On May 11, Thursday, a vehicle struck an individual at the intersection in Palmdale. CHP logged the fatal collision around 11:19 p.m.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Palmdale
When emergency crews arrived at the crash site, they found the pedestrian suffering in serious injuries. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the victim but they eventually succumbed to their injuries and passed away. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Authorities mentioned the unfortunate event involved a dark gray sedan, possibly a Honda Civic. Due to the force from the impact, the car sustained major front-end damage. No immediate information was available on the driver involved in the horrible crash.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the deadly accident that happened at 20th Street and Avenue N in Palmdale.
