Driver Hospitalized After Rear-End Collision on Skyway
Paradise, CA (July 24, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Skyway Thursday morning.
According to Action News Now, a 24-year-old man was driving a white Honda traveling on Skyway around 8:30 a.m. Approximately a mile west of the lookout point in Paradise, the driver of the Honda failed to slow down. Officials said the car slammed into the back of a construction vehicle.

Major Car Accident in Paradise
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately attended to the driver of the Honda and the occupants in the construction vehicle. Our sources confirmed the Honda driver sustained major injuries in the crash. An ambulance rushed the patient to Enloe Medical Center for further treatment.
Meanwhile, the construction workers inside the vehicle only complained of pain to their necks after the incident.
Detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the accident on Skyway in Paradise.
