3 Injured in Parlier Car Crash Near Rose and Zediker Avenues
PARLIER, CA (February 17, 2022) – Several were injured after a car crash near Rose and Zediker avenues in Parlier.
According to the FOX 26 News and Your Central Valley, the accident took place on Thursday evening. Officers reported the wreck at around 7 p.m.
The incident happened when a Toyota Tundra ran a stop sign for an unknown reason at the intersection of Rose and Zediker avenues in Parlier.
The California Highway Patrol said in the process, the pickup truck slammed into the side of a Kia SUV. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Driver Runs Red Light, Hits Another Car
The man riding as a passenger in the SUV sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. An air ambulance took him to the Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The female driver of the Kia and the motorist in the Toyota survived with minor injuries. Medical personnel provided aid to both patients at the site.
The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Rose and Zediker avenues to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Parlier crash is still under investigation.
