8 Injured in Paso Robles Crash at Highway 46 and River Grove Drive
PASO ROBLES, CA (February 12, 2022) – Several were injured after a car crash at Highway 46 and River Grove Drive in Paso Robles.
A California Highway Patrol dispatch said the wreck took place on Saturday evening. Officers reported the accident at about 7:52 p.m.
The incident happened when three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Paso Robles. They crashed on westbound Highway 46 at the intersection with River Grove Drive.
Multiple Cars Collide
CHP described the cars as a green Honda CR-V, a gray SUV and a white Toyota Corolla. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near a water utility company.
The KSBY News wrote that at least eight people ended up hurt as a result of the collision. One of them sustained major injuries upon impact.
Medical personnel rushed the patients to the Twin Cities and Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center for treatment. A helicopter took one of them to one of the hospitals.
The reports did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time, Meanwhile, the cause of the Paso Robles crash is still under investigation.
CHP forced westbound Highway 46 to shut down at River Grove for more than three hours following the wreck.
