Hit-and-Run Collision at Santa Rosa and Hill Canyon Road Sunday
Camarillo, CA (November 14, 2021) – A deputy suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred in the area of Santa Rosa and Hill Canyon Road.
The KVTA News reported an officer was responding to an incident in the Santa Rosa Valley Sunday afternoon. As the deputy approached the area indicated in the 911 call, the suspect driving a Chevy Tahoe allegedly intentionally rammed the patrol vehicle.
The Chevy reportedly hit the driver’s side of the police car. The crash took place in the area of Santa Rosa and Hill Canyon Road. Officials mentioned the incident took place on a side road in an agricultural area.

Responding medical personnel found the deputy with injuries. Our sources indicated paramedics transported the injured officer to the hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
Meanwhile, authorities mentioned the driver of the Chevy fled the scene on foot. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon to investigate the precise cause of the car crash at Santa Rosa and Hill Canyon Road.
