Paul Moore, 61, Killed in Fresno Bicycle Crash Near Friant and Audubon

FRESNO, CA (January 13, 2022) – Paul Moore was killed after a bicycle crash near Friant Road and Audubon Drive in Fresno.

The coroner’s office identified the 61-year-old Fresno man as the victim of the fatal collision which took place on Wednesday.

The incident happened when Paul Moore was riding a recumbent-style bicycle near Friant Road and Audubon Drive in Fresno. He was traveling away from Woodward Park at the time.

Man on Bike Hit by Truck

At the same time, a truck turned west on Audubon from southbound Friant. Police said in the process, the vehicle struck the cyclist.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and found the rider lying on the ground. Paul Moore ended up suffering from serious injuries as a result of the bicycle crash.

Medical personnel soon pronounced him dead at the scene. The Fresno Bee and Your Central Valley wrote that the accident occurred on January 12 at around 1:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the truck stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the bicyclist. The cause of the Fresno bicycle crash is still under investigation.
