Man Hit by Car on Bear Valley Road in Victorville
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (July 13, 2021) — A pedestrian accident on Bear Valley Road happened Monday night in Victorville.
The collision happened at about 8:35 pm, on July 12th, according to Victor Valley News.
A driver struck the man in the westbound No. 1 lane directly in front of Desert Valley Hospital, just east of 2nd Avenue.
Victorville police and fire officials responded and determined the man suffered serious injuries. They also requested a helicopter to airlift him to an out-of-area trauma center.

Additionally, authorities stated the man was attempting to cross through the middle of the intersection on the north side of Bear Valley Road.
The driver told authorities the man appeared suddenly in her path so she swerved, but was unable to avoid hitting him.
Meanwhile, authorities confirmed the driver stopped and cooperated with the investigators.
