Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man Near Denman Road
Penngrove, CA (June 5, 2022) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred on Old Redwood Highway in an unincorporated area of Sonoma County.
The CBS News reported a vehicle struck an individual on the highway just north of Denman Road. Officials mentioned the collision took place in the area located between Petaluma and Cotati.

Shortly after 12:40 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics found a body lying on the ground. Despite life-saving attempts performed to the pedestrian, they sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
No immediate information was available on the driver involved in the unfortunate event.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the deadly accident happened on Old Redwood Highway in Penngrove.
