Perris crash Highway 74 Margarth
1 Killed in Perris Crash on Highway 74 Near Margarth Street
PERRIS, CA (December 17, 2021) – At least one was killed after a car crash on Highway 74 near Margarth Street in Perris.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident took place on Friday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:45 p.m.
CHP said a gray Honda Accord and possibly a gray sedan collided for an unknown reason in Perris. The two crashed on Highway 74 near Margarth Street.
2 Vehicles Collide
The incident log added that the Honda rolled over due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel confirmed that one person died as a result of the collision. The name of the deceased victim has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP believed that the other sedan did not stop to render aid and fled the area. The car obtained front-end damage and headed toward Lake Elsinore.
Officers forced a stretch of Highway 74 near Margarth Street to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Perris crash is still under investigation.
